World of WearableArt (WOW)

Amazing, inspiring, and just “wow”. Words escape me when describing The World of WearableArt (WOW) as I try to remember the overwhelming awe I felt walking through the exhibition at the Auckland Museum last week. So I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Originally from Nelson, The World of WearableArt is an annual design awards show held in Wellington, New Zealand every September of the year. There is absolutely no limit on the materials for the garments as long as they remains wearable, which is the fundamental requirement. The range of creations are breathtaking. Thus art and fashion collide in the most spectacular way. The exhibition is on at the Auckland Museum until March 22 and then will tour internationally.
