The Look of My Saturday
Saturday was probably my favorite day during the long weekend because come Sunday, the rain won’t just let up. Don’t you just hate it when the forecast for bad weather turns out to be right?
Started with morning tea at Nadu Espresso + Juice. We passed by this place while walking down on Nuffield Street last week so we decided to spend the morning there since it looked so cosy. The upside-down hanging plants lining the huge windows and the bicycles on the wall are the scene stealer of this cafe. There really isn’t a lot of space to sit on since it’s basically a takeaway cafe. There’s a bar with stools, small couch, and a couple of chairs outside. It’s a nice place to catch up with a friend, especially if you’re in the area. They serve sandwiches, fresh juices, and Kokako coffee. I’ve never had Ginger Latte before but it was nice.
Indie Home Colletive was the next stop. I love this store so much. It is home decor and styling heaven. Pure! I just love it. If you told me that this place hosted a Kinfolk gathering in the past. I would wholeheartedly believe you and then bask in the pretty pictures.
We weren’t able to get what we were looking for at Indie Home, but we did on the next one. A perfect white vase from flo’s Home!
flo’s Home by flo & frankie is one of my favorite places to visit in Auckland. It is, for me, the home decor counterpart of Kikki.K (to which I am addicted). Their walls are filled with knick knacks of all sorts of combination. Bright, functional, minimal, and all adorable. Don’t the colors squeal of happiness? They’ve recently put up an online shop which is exciting. Now I have a way of staring at their pretty stuff in the comfort of the couch.
How was your Labour Weekend? Did you have a good one?
