That Spring Feelin’

A few weeks ago I was strolling along Newmarket and noticed pink magnolias abloom (I was in a bad mood because of the rain and hormones, but I did notice!). With the weather warming up, I find myself letting go of wool coats and embracing trench coats. If there’s anything, I cannot wait for spring–blooms, berries, dresses, and late sunsets. How I’ve been longing for longer days… well, not long for now!

On that cheerful note, I have a few beauty chums to celebrate spring with, and beautiful ones too! The Clarins Garden Escape is a gorgeous palette made of dreamy taupe, pinks, and greens. If you know me, I’m heavily fond of green. Green on my eyes? Yes, please! I’ve been practicing my cat eye with the Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Gel Eyeliner in Deep Sea Pearls as well. I end up with a different style everyday–accidentally good everytime, if I may say!

Cheeks-wise, this sea-shell inspired Sunkissed Pearls Bronzer and Highlighter is a total delight for sunkissed face goals. It’s basically a warm blush, contour, and strobe all-in-one. To finish, a swipe of Eva Longoria’s Peachy Skin from L'Oreal Colour Riche’s Collection Exclusive Nudes. From the whole nude lip collection, I find that this works the best on my warm medium skin tone.

I’ve been avoiding sugar–or at least I’m trying my best–since I’ve watched That Sugar Film (you must see it, it’s a life changer!), but I’ve been getting my sweet treats from the new I Am Juicy Couture. Not the most creative name for a JC fragrance albeit a defining one, but it is one sweet update. If Hollywood Royal was composed on a musky, sexy tune, this one is pleasantly saccharine, a bit pop, and cute as a button. It reminds me of Aquolina Pink Sugar, except this has more depth and juicyness.
