Saturday Red Edit

Saturday’s weather may be glum, but I’m not worried. Today, I’m pampering myself with some of my favorite things–in red. Because, really, what is warmer than a shade of red to combat this dreary weather?

Hair: Schwarzkopf Professional BC Repair Rescue Shampoo, Conditioner, & Treatment

Okay, I’ve thrown hair care out of the routine for a few years now so this hair care bundle came in at the right time. I’ve always liked Schwarzkopf for their hair treatments and this range is no exception. The BC Repair Rescue has Hydrolyzed Keratin to restore the hair’s protective layer and repair damaged hair. The hair treatment smells delicious and after just one use, my hair feels softer and looks healthier already!

Drink: Hӧpt Soda

I was introduce to Hӧpt Soda earlier this week and I’m really liking it. It’s perfect for summer days on the beach, at a barbeque or at home, like my case. It’s light, refreshing, and contains a lot less sugar than other sodas. My favorite is the Watermelon and Mint.

Reading about writing inspires me to write, which is just what I need. This is a loan from the library.

Nails: Faby Nail Laquer in Red Hot and Oxygen Base Coat

I’m loving this Red Hot shade from Faby. It’s the nail color I’m wearing on the picture above. Isn’t it gorgeous? It’s from their Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. Faby is a nail brand from Italy which has recently launched in New Zealand. Their products are not tested on animals and are “Big 5 Free” (no DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor). The Oxygen Base Coat is a nourishing base coat that contains vitamins and antioxidants to keep the nails in tiptop condition.

Face: Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner // Lips: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Red

It may be raining sideways, but there’s no turning back when you’ve already booked tickets to One Day Moko tonight. For later, I’m keeping it simple with a clean face and a red lip. For the face, I’m adding Trilogy’s Hydrating Mist Toner to my new skin care routine. This one contains natural ingredients only and it smells lovely. For red lips, one of my favorites is Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balm. It’s a true red and always classy.

I’ll be reviewing different mist toners soon (including Trilogy’s Hydrating Mist Toner), so keep an eye out for that!

P.S. Don’t let the weather bog you down today!
