Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas

last minute christmas gift ideas

Frenzy time! We’re now very close to Christmas and if you’re like me who actually enjoys the rush of last minute shopping, then here are a few amazing ideas for her. The YSL Kiss and Love collection is one of the cutest limited edition designs I’ve seen to come out this holiday season. The red kiss marks on the Touche Eclat is a standout, and you’ll find the same engraved on the Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks. Fancy! >When it comes to palettes, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit is the hype. The super soft powder looks natural set on the skin and it has a great selection of shades for blushes (plum, coral pink, bronzer) and highlighters. Books are always a good idea especially if it looks as good as Love x Style x Life by Garance Dore. It’s a good fun read with Garance’s witty and endearing observation of her personal life.

Fragrances can be a hit or miss, but if she adores light fruity fragrances, she will love Giorgio Armani Si. The beautiful peach bottle also looks gorgeous.

Benefit Cosmetics have amazing colourful gift sets, some packaged in novelty tins. Get The Party Started contains the ingredient for those who like the glowy, healthy look (like me): The Porefessional, That Gal, Posie Tint, It’s Real Liner.

Skincare wise, you can never go wrong with Kiehl’s. For their annual holiday artist collaboration, Peter Max produces really cute fantastical packaging for Kiehl’s bestsellers Ultra Facial Cream and Calendula Toner. If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, there’s Linden Leaves Summer Duo of cooling watermelon body scrub and butter and MOR’s delicious hand creams wrapped in beautiful traditional Christmas cracker.

It’s hard not to fall in love with Dior’s State of Gold holiday collection when it looks so sophisticated and festive. I recommend the Dior Press Powder in Luxurious Beige and the Diorific Mat (which is comprised of six different reds in matte finish). Adult colouring books has become increasingly popular and there are loads of choices out there. I particularly enjoy Johanna Basford’s artwork. Her latest, Lost Ocean, will take your favourite person relaxing in colours under the sea. >For photography buffs, Fujifilm’s Instax are a whole lot of fun and the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 not only looks good, but has loads of advanced features such as macro mode and double exposure! Last but certainly not the least. There’s nothing like a classy timepiece, and Daniel Wellington’s minimalism is just pure beauty. The Classy Bristol in Rose Gold is the newest addition to my collection. There’s free gift wrapping also this holiday season. Use the code ‘notjaya’ for 15% off. Valid until January 15. I’d love to hear your gift ideas too! Let me know in the comments.
