There are lots of reasons why many would want to switch to natural and organic makeup. Whether it’s skin sensitivity, curiosity, or just plain preference, you won’t be disappointed with the natural makeup brands and options that are available today. Here are a few discoveries which I’ve come to love.

ILIA Tinted Lip Conditioner - Don’t be fooled by the word tint, as the two tinted lip conditioners above are quite pigmented. Pink Moon is a beautiful berry shade, created in honour of the recent Earth Day. The other shade is called These Days which is a warm nude with a hint of bronze shimmer. They have a great texture and decent wear. ILIA has such a huge offering for natural makeup lovers, their range covers almost all your makeup needs.

Living Nature Illuminating Foundation and Thickening Mascara - Living Nature, a New Zealand company, may be known as a skincare company first, but they have a huge range of mineral makeup as well. The Soft Lights Illuminating Foundation is amazing for its dewy finish and light coverage. It’s lightweight and comes at a perfect time when you need that extra glow, worn on its own of on top of your foundation. Their Thickening Mascara is a must if you’re eyes are sensitive. Your eyes will thank you and love this fragrance-free formula!

Antipodes Mineral Makeup - Antipodes, also from New Zealand and also widely known for their to-die-for skincare, does natural makeup as well. I’m a such huge fan of this brand! This mineral cover has fine powders that offer light to medium coverage. I tend to avoid powder formulas due to my dry skin, but I find this isn’t drying at all. They also make loveable lipsticks–I have 3 of them!

NVEY ECO Blush and Concealer - The above mentioned are guaranteed natural makeup, but NVEY ECO is pure and certified organic. The Powder Blush has an amazingly smooth powder. This is shade 995, a soft pink. For concealing, the Erase Corrector is a thick creamy concealer that has great pigmentation. It is quite hard on the pot and needs a bit of warmth before it melts into a soft cream, but once it does application is easy and blends well.
