Etude House Beauty Haul
Etude House is one of my favorite Korean beauty shops available in the Philippines. They’re popular for their BB creams and hair bubble color. I mainly go there to get hair color and nail color. The bubble hair color is so easy to use. And their nail polishes come in the yummiest of shades. They have a lot of lovely products as well. It’s a beauty castle!
The last time I visited, I picked up a few new things. This happened two months ago but I thought I’d share them with you since I love, love, love them!
Hot Style Bubble Hair Coloring
Ever since I discovered this product, I’ve never used anything else to color my hair. It’s easy as applying shampoo and colors evenly. There’s no nasty smell, in fact there’s no smell at all! I love that it doesn’t dry my already dry hair either. Inside the box, you’ll also find the essentials for your coloring session such as cape, gloves, and conditioner. I use the shade Natural Brown nowadays. In the past, I have used Mocha Pink and Sweet Orange.
Color My Brows
I can’t believe I discovered brow mascaras only recently, but I’m glad I did. I have strong dark eyebrows and coloring my hair a few shades lighter only makes them out of sync. My hair and brows just clash. Now, with this, I finally have a weapon to balance them out. I use this brow mascara to soften up my eyebrows and overall, the whole of my look. This shade is Natural Brown.
Drawing Eye Brow
This is a soft eye brow pencil with a very handy spoolie at the other end. So you can draw your desired brow shape as well as brush the hair in place using just one product! Brushing the brows with the spoolie also helps blend the edges of the drawn brow. I took three of these in brown and grey shades.
Drawing Show Brush Liner
This is a favorite. I easily become a master of the winged eyeliner because of this. It’s easy to use, has a solid color, and the formula dries quickly. It isn’t waterproof but I find that it doesn’t smudge easily. It holds really well.
The newest shade in my Play Nail collection is #33, a beige nude. The Etude nail colors are very durable and don’t leave a stain on the nails. I’m a huge fan of these! The Play Nail is a good option for when you feel like saving (rather than splurging) on nail colors without sacrificing quality. Did I mention the shades are yummy?
Overall, this was a good haul and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m pretty impressed with everything. I mentioned that I already love the hair and nail color, but the brow mascara, brow pencil, and brush liner does such a great job for their purposes. Two months later, I’m wishing I took more brush liner and brow mascara!
Etude House does not have a store in New Zealand as of now, but luckily their online store offers worldwide delivery. Meanwhile, I’ll be haunting Asian beauty shops that are available in Auckland. I’ve seen The Face Shop, Missha, and a Japanese beauty store in the city. Hopefully, I’ll be making some good purchases soon!
Are you a fan of Asian beauty products too?
