It may not look like winter has arrived in my makeup routine, but I feel like you can wear anything during winter anyway. I’ve been testing out a few new products during the past month and here’s a rundown of those that I often reach out for before heading out the door.
I’m really loving Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF20 as a light everyday base. The new formulation uses hydrolyzed pearl particles that makes the skin glowy. I love anything glowy since my skin is so dry and this one helps with keeping moisture in as well. Coverage is minimal as you would expect from a tint but it does make a difference. You could wear it under foundation for some glow. The SPF is an added bonus too.
Maybelline Molten Eyeshadow in Nude is such an amazing daily colour. It looks orange-ish on the pan but on the skin, it’s a beautiful sheer bronze. The pale pink works for brightening the inner corners. The texture of this is really light and smooth. Love this one.
Recently, I’ve been forgoing eyebrow pencils for Blinc Eyebrow Mousse to groom my brows, as it fills and shapes at the same time. A couple of swipes and I’m done! The shade I’m using is Light Brunette which is an dark ashy blonde when applied and dries down to a chocolate brown. If you do try this, I suggest you get a shade lighter than your hair colour since it dries down a shade darker.
I’m a huge fan of multi-purpose products and Vapour Aura Multi-Use Blush is Eros could be an all-time favourite! It’s natural and organic and blends like a dream. Vapour products always smell so nice and this one is no exception. The Eros is also deep pinky mauve which works great as a MLBB shade. On other days, I’d reach for L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Erotique or Mon Jules. These are from the Colour Riche 30th Anniversary Collection. Both are beautiful matte shades and not drying at all.
